Among our Caucasian destinations where we operate our holidays, a tourist visa is required to enter Azerbaijan and Iran. Other destinations enjoy visa free regime with the USA, UK, most European countries and Australia provided the travel period does not exceed a certain period of time, normally 90 days.

GEORGIA

No visa is required for most nationals travelling to Georgia as tourists. Currently most nationalities including USA, UK, Australia and EU citizens enjoy visa - free regime with Georgia when visiting the country as tourists for up to 1 year.
 
Required documents for travel:
  • a passport valid during proposed duration of your stay.

ARMENIA

No visa is required for most nationals travelling to Armenia as tourists. Currently USA, British and EU citizens enjoy visa - free regime with Armenia when visiting the country as tourists for up to 180 days in a year.
 
Required documents for travel:
  • a passport valid during the whole period of stay in Armenia.
Note for dual nationals entering Armenia using their Armenian passport and travelling with children on a United Kingdom passport - a child of an Armenian passport holder is automatically regarded as Armenian and must present an Armenian passport to leave the country. The child may be detained on departure if the child can’t produce an Armenian passport.

AZERBAIJAN

Visa required. Currently USA, British, most European as well Canada and Australia nationals require a visa to travel to Azerbaijan. Your Azerbaijan visa can now be provided in a form of an e-visa meaning there is no need to visit the consulate or post your passport anywhere. Once you book a tour to Azerbaijan with us, you will need to email us a copy of your passport and we will apply for an e-visa on your behalf. You will not need to complete any forms. Once the visa is approved by Azerbaijan authorities it will be emailed to you as a PDF document which you will need to print and take with you on a tour. The process is very simple and straightforward.

  • passport valid for a minimum period of six months from the date of entry into Azerbaijan,
  • e-visa application form.

IRAN

Visa required. Iran has simplified its visa procedure and now most nationalities (excluding USA) can get their visa on arrival at most international airports provided they visit Iran for tourist purposes and have not been rejected an Iranian visa in the past.

Note: United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Colombia, India, Iraq, Jordan, Libya, Nepal, Pakistan, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan and Yemen nationals are excluded from these regulations and need to apply for an ordinary tourist visa at the country of their residence before traveling to Iran. Please reconfirm before travelling if you can apply for a visa on arrival.

Procedure for an ordinary visa. Once you book a tour, we will send you the guidance on how to complete the visa form. Then your documents must be submitted to a consulate for processing.

Procedure for a visa on arrival. You will need to complete an online form before travelling (at least two days before arrival in Iran). Once your application is approved you will get a confirmation which you must take with you on your tour. At arrival airport you go to the visa and passport office and get a stamp in your passport. You will need to pay a fee at the bank counter (unfortunately this cannot be done before your trip).

TURKEY

Visa required. Currently USA, Canada and Australia nationals require a visa to travel to Turkey. There is a visa-free regime with most European countries. Your Turkish visa can now be provided in a form of an e-visa meaning there is no need to visit the consulate or post your passport anywhere.

Required documents for travel:
  • a passport valid for at least six months from the date you arrive and there should be a full blank page for the entry and exit stamps,
  • a completed e-visa application. You just need to fill a simple form on the Turkish e-visa website (the form mainly asks for your passport details, names and address) - www.evisa.gov.tr
